2 Barrier Statues on the field Empty
PostSubject: 2 Barrier Statues on the field   2 Barrier Statues on the field EmptyThu Jul 05, 2007 10:51 am

If 2 different "Barrier Statue" monsters are on the field ("Barrier Statue of the Abyss" and "Barrier Statue of the Heavens" for example), can a player Special Summons a monster of those two Attributes or he /she can't Special Summons any monster?

Answer:

Niether player would be able to Special Summon monsters.

"Barrier Statue of the Abyss" prevents any monster from being Special Summon unless that monster has the WATER attribute. This is fine, until "Barrier Statute of the Heavens" shows up and decides to prevent all Special Summons unless the monster is a LIGHT attribute.

So Abyss takes care of everyone except WATER, and then Heavens comes along and ruins that too. In the end, you cannot Special Summon any monsters at all.
