Field Spell Vs. Field Spell - What! MST!? Empty
PostSubject: Field Spell Vs. Field Spell - What! MST!?   Field Spell Vs. Field Spell - What! MST!? EmptyFri Sep 14, 2007 8:27 pm

I have an active Field Spell Card, my Opponent activantes another one and I chain Mystical Space Typhoon targeting his newly activated Field Spell: does my Field spell still gets destroyed?

Answer:

- If I have an active Field Spell Card and my opponent activates a new Field Spell Card, my Field Spell Card is not destroyed until my opponent's Field Spell Card resolves.

In this situation, "Mystical Space Typhoon" is chained, targeting the opponent's newly activated Field Spell Card. This changes things.

The "Mystical Space Typhoon" resolves first and destroys the newly activated Field Spell Card. The newly activated Field Spell Card fails to resolve because it has been destroyed. As a result, my Field Spell Card remains in play.
