If I summon a Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands and choose not to use its effect, can my opponent still respond with Pulling the Rug?
Answer:
If you successfully Normal Summon a monster that has an optional trigger effect and you choose to not activate the effect, "Pulling the Rug" cannot be activated..
For example, if you Tribute Summon "Mobius the Frost Monarch" and choose to NOT activate its
effect because you do not want to destroy any Spell or Trap Cards... "Pulling the Rug" has nothing to negate and cannot be activated.
