As we know, Ritual Monsters that do not have any effect are not considered Effect Monsters (for purposes such as "Non-Spellcasting Area").
So are they considered Normal Monsters (for purposes such as "Birthright" or "Soul Resurrection") ?

Answer:
Normal Monsters are cards with a yellow-ish background, such as "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and "Gene-Warped Warwolf".
Ritual and Fusion Monsters are never considered Normal Monsters, even if they have no effects. So, you cannot Special Summon a Ritual/Fusion Monster with "Birthright" or "Soul Resurrection" under any circumstances.
