Crystal Blessing - When is it sent to the graveyard? Empty
PostSubject: Crystal Blessing - When is it sent to the graveyard?   Crystal Blessing - When is it sent to the graveyard? EmptyFri Jul 06, 2007 2:26 am

This situation came up at a recent tournament.

Opponent is playing a crystal beast deck, he has 2 crystal beast monsters in his spell/trap zone he has a facedown spell/trap and he activates crystal blessings and targets 2 crystal beast monsters.

The question is when is crystal blessing actually sent to the graveyard once it resolves? or after it resolves and the crystal beast monsters are placed on the field?

Answer:

From the FAQ: "You cannot target more “Crystal Beast” monsters in your Graveyard than you have empty Spell & Trap Card Zones when you activate this card."

This player targeted two Crystal Beast monsters, but only had 1 open Spell And Trap Card Zone. This was a mistake.

"Crystal Blessing" is placed onto the Graveyard when the Chain has finished resolving. Given that "Crystal Blessing" is a Normal Spell Card, this will typically occur after its effect has completed resolving.
