Crystal Abundance - Effects of Summoned Crystal Beasts ; Ruby Carbuncle in Damage Step
Are you able to choose which effects occur first after the activation of crystal abundance? for example:
You sent three cards from the opp field to the grave allowing you to special summon 3 crystal beasts
and lets say you have 2 pegasus and one ruby carbuncle are you able to have the 2 pegasus search for their crystal beasts before ruby carbuncle's ability activates? which in the end would allow you to have 5 crystal beasts on the field.
I have another question if I special summon ruby carbuncle with shining angel it wouldnt get its effect since its still the damage step correct?
Answer:

When "Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle" is Special Summoned, you can only activate its effect if your have Crystal Beasts on your Spell and Trap Card Zone. "Crystal Abundance" sends all cards on the field to the Graveyard, so it is very likely that you will not have any Crystal Beasts on your Spell and Trap Card Zone and thus will not be able to activate "Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle's" effect.
In your example, the 2 copies of "Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus" can activate their effects. The "Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle" will not.
2)
You can activate the effect of "Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle" if it is Special Summoned during the Damage Step, assuming no other effects prevent you from doing so.
