I have had this come up a few times lately. Wave Motion Cannon say send to graveyard, but if Macro Cosmos is on the field it does not go to the grave. Will the effect still happen?
Answer:
"Wave-Motion Cannon" needs to be sent to the Graveyard in order to activate its effect. This is not possible while "Macro Cosmos" is active, and as a result "Wave-Motion Cannon's" effect cannot be activated.
