If I had a Victory Viper XX03 and it has a token on my field. I also have a set Covering Fire. My opponent attacks Victory Viper, then I activate Covering Fire to increase Victory Viper by the attack of its token, then he gets pumped to 2400 and the token becomes to 2400 aswell, so does that mean Covering Fire increases him again by 1200, therefore creating an infinite attack strength?
Answer:
No infinite loop.
The ATK increase is applied once, when the effect of "Covering Fire" resolves.
"Victory Viper XX03" will gain 1200 ATK and that is all.
