If skill drain is active on the field, will Exploder Dragon's secondary
effect of battle damage becoming 0 be negated as well?
My theory is that it will.

any Battle Damage either player takes from a battle involving this card
becomes 0."

Answer:
While "Exploder Dragon's" effects are being negated by "Skill Drain", when it attacks a player its second effect is negated and is not applied. In this case, Battle Damage will be applied a player's Life Points as normal.
