Hi there.
I've got a simply question: How does Shrink work? Does it change the original ATK of the targeted monster or does it just modify the current ATK?
Important Example could be if I activate 2 Shrinks on 1 monster. Would it get 1/2 ATK oder 1/4 ATK?
Answer:
"The effect of "Shrink" works like "Megamorph", setting a new current ATK based on half of the original ATK. If the same monster is targeted by both "Shrink" and "Megamorph", only the effect of the card that resolved last will be applied."
If you use "Shrink" on "Cyber Dragon", its ATK will be 1050. It's original ATK is still 2100, but "Shrink's" effect halves that value and creates a current ATK of 1050. Any other card effect that references "Cyber Dragon's" original ATK would refer to the value of 2100.
"Even if a monster is targeted by multiple copies of "Shrink", its ATK will still be half of its original ATK. " Both cards would do the exact same thing, halving 2100 to 1050.
