If I play Dark World Dealings, and chain Call of the Haunted targetting Protector of the Sanctuary, how would Dark World Dealings resolve?
Dark World Dealings:
Each player draws 1 card. Then each player discards 1 card
Protector of the Sanctuary:
While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot draw a card(s) except during Draw Phases.
Obviously, I would Draw a card and my opponent wouldn't, but would we both have to discard a card? Or would my opponent be exempt from this due to not having drawn one?
Answer:
You will draw 1 card and then discard 1 card.
Your opponent will not draw a card, but will discard 1 card when you do.
