PLAYER A HAS A FACE DOWN SAKURETSU ARMOR PLAYER B HAS A FACE DOWN CALL OF THE HAUNTED.PLAYER B SUMMONS A MONSTER AND ATTACKS, PLAYER B ACTIVATES SAKURETSU ARMOR, CAN PLAYER B CHAIN CALL OF THE HAUNTED TO CHANGE THE NUMBER OF MONSTERS ON THE FEILD TO STOP SAKURETSU AND KEEP THEIR MONSTER(S)
Answer:
From the Basic Gameplay FAQ:
"A replay is triggered when an attack has been declared, and then during the attack a potential attack target on the opponent’s side of the field appears or disappears."
Player B is the attacking player. Player A is "the opponent". A replay will occur if a potential attack target appears or disappears on Player A's side of the field.
This does not occur in our situation. In our current situation, Player B Special Summons an additional monster onto their own side of the field. This does not cause a replay.
AND... even if it did... the Chain would STILL resolve fully before the Replay is applied. So, the attacking monster would still be destroyed by "Sakuretsu Armor".
