I have some doubts about the effect of these 2 monsters, and would like to know what happens in those situations:
1) Player A have "Red-Eyes Black Dragon", and player B have "Lord of D." on their fields. Can player A activate "Inferno Fire Blast", or use "Metamorphosis" to special summon a lv7 fusion monster?
2) Player A have "Mother Grizzly" and player B have "King Dragun" on the field. Can Player A activate "Creature Swap" or "Soul Exchange"?
Answer:
"Lord of D." says that all Dragon-Type monsters cannot be targeted by effects. This means that you cannot activate an effect and select a Dragon as your target.
"King Dragun" does the same thing, but only applies the restriction to your opponent.
So you need to ask yourself, "does this effect select a target?" If the effect selects a target, Dragon-Type monsters will be off-limits in the selection process.
"Inferno Fire Blast" selects 1 face-up "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" as its target. If "Lord of D." is face-up ont he field, you cannot select "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" as a target, thus you cannot activate the "Inferno Fire Blast".
"Metamorphosis" does not target. It Tributes 1 monster as a cost, and later Special Summon a Fusion Monster of the same Level as the Tributed monster. "Lord of D." does not affect this.
"Creature Swap" does not target. "Lord of D." does not affect this.
"Soul Exchange" selects 1 monster as a target. If a monster is a face-up Dragon-Type, you would not be able to select it as a target because "Lord of D." would not allow you to do so.
