Crystal Beasts - Use for Emergency Provisions - Destroyed while Macro Cosmos active
Hello all, with the release of the new "Crystal Beasts", some new questions have been brought to my attention that I feel need to be addressed.
1. Can you send "Crystal Beasts" from your Spell/Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard as the cost for "Emergency Provisions"?
2. Would "Crystal Beasts" monsters that are destroyed be removed from play while "Macro Cosmos" is active?
Answer:
1. You can send Crystal Beasts being treated as Continuous Spell Cards to pay for the cost of "Emergency Provisions", just like you can send them to the Graveyard to Summon "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder".
2. That is up to the player controlling the destroyed Crystal Beast monster. If they want the destroyed Crystal Beast to become a Continuous Spell Card, it becomes a Continuous Spell Card. If they do not want it to become a Continuous Spell Card, it will be removed from play.
This is also true if "Banisher of the Radiance", etc. is face-up on the field.
