Player A flips Return from The Different Dimension, when it resolved, 5 monsters including 2 Blowback Dragons were special summoned to the field.
Player B activated Torrential Tribute in response to the monsters hitting the field, then Player A used priority on both of the Blowbacks to kill 2 cards on the field. He couldn't do that right?
Both judges saw it and said that he could, but you only have priority when you, as a player, actually do the summon, correct?
Answer:
I see a few issues here.
1 - It seems no one noticed that Player A chained the effect of 1 "Blowback Dragon" to the effect of another "Blowback Dragon". This is bad.
"Blowback Dragon's" effect is an Ignition Effect, Spell Speed 1. You cannot chain the Ignition Effect of "Blowback Dragon" to the Ignition Effect of another "Blowback Dragon", because you cannot chain a Spell Speed 1 card effect to another Spell Speed 1 card effect.
2 - I am assuming that Player A is the turn player and that this occured during their Main Phase. If both of these assumptions are true, it would be possible for Player A to retain prority to activate the Ignition Effect of one of their "Blowback Dragons". The opponent could then chain their "Torrential Tribute".
