Demise, King of Armageddon Vs. My Body as a Shield Empty

If there's a monster on the field other than Demise, and he is therefore guaranteed to destroy at least one monster with his effect, can you use My Body As A Shield against it to negate and destroy Demise?

Personally, I say yes, because of the ruling of MBAAS against Raigeki Break. Since you can use it against Raigeki Break (Which I'm assuming is only valid if Break targets a monster,) and the text on Break says to "Destroy 1 CARD on the field," then Demise should fall as well as long as there is a monster in his path, with his "Destroy ALL cards on the field."

Answer:

You can chain "My Body as a Shield" when the effect of your opponent's "Demise, King of Armageddon" is activated, as long as there is at least 1 other monster on the field.

If "Demise, King of Armageddon" is the only monster on the field when its effect is activated, it is not possible for the opponent to chain "My Body as a Shield".
