Just to verify... Can Summoner Monk be tributed if it's face down? (First line of text says, "This card cannot be tributed").

(i.e. At one of the playoff matches at Nationals it was tributed while facedown for the cost of crush card virus...)

it doesn't technically have an effect until it flips, or something like that, the wording is confusing, but Yes you can.
