soul exchange; gravekeeper's servant w/ Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure
hi this is my first post and i really have some questions:
1.- lets say player A has soul exchange in her hand and player B has spirit reaper face up on the field. If player A uses her card and targets SR player A must have a tribute in her hand or the effect of soul exchange just disappears because it targets spirit reaper???
2.-lets say player A has soul exchange in her hand and player B has a sangan face up. player A uses her soul exchange and targets sangan then player A tribute summons a thestalos. the question here is: what happens first , sangans effect or thestalos' effect?
3.-and at last, lets say player A have a Gravekeeper's Servant face up on the field and a macrocosmos , then player B cant declare an attack... but, what happens if player A has a dimensional fissure instead: then player B can or can't declare an attack???
Answer:
1. The effect of "Soul Exchange" doesn't immediately Tribute the targeted monster. "“Soul Exchange” allows you to Tribute the targeted monster as though it was yours for the rest of the turn."
"Spirit Reaper" will be destroyed when "Soul Exchange" resolves. It will not be around anymore, so you cannot Tribute it, but you still lose your Battle Phase because "Soul Exchange" still resolved.
2. "Sangan" will be placed first onto the Chain, followed by "Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch". This means that "Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch" will resolve first, followed by "Sangan".
3. The ruling is the same. The opponent would not be able to declare an attack.
