Is De-Fusion being used legally in this situation?
With Cyber Dragon and the Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion to Special Cyber Twin Dragon, use De-Fusion on it to turn it back to the Light Hex and Cyber Dragon and then main phase 2 use the Hex and Cyber Dragon to special Cyber Twin Dragon back.
Answer:
Using this effect of "The Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion" is NOT a Fusion Summon. It is a Special Summon, sure, but it is not classified as a Fusion Summon.
"De-Fusion" says "If all the Fusion Material Monsters that were used for the Fusion Summon of that Fusion Monster are in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon them."
We did not Fusion Summon "Cyber-Twin Dragon", so no monsters will be Special Summoned by "De-Fusion".
