| Subject: Majestic Mech's and Macro Cosmos, etc. Wed Aug 08, 2007 8:03 am | |
| I started running a removal deck recently and have encountered a lot of effects which are shut down if cards cannot go to the graveyard.
Majestic Mech - Ohka and Majestic Mech - Goryu can be summoned with less than the normal number of tributes and if summoned this way, they will be sent to the graveyard during the End Phase.
Is choosing to have the monster sent to the graveyard during the End Phase rather than choosing to tribute the correct number of monsters a cost paid to summon the card? If not, why is it not a cost paid to summon the monster?
If it is a cost, how will this process be affected by Macro Cosmos, etc? Answer:
It is not a cost. The monster is sent to the Graveyard when the effect is resolved.
In this situation, the "Majestic Mech - Ohka" and/or "Majestic Mech - Goryu" would be removed from play.
