I was skimming through card ideas and I came across Pitch-Dark Dragon. As I was reading the DR1 version, an interesting thought came to my mind. As known, Pitch Dark is the smaller Union monster that equips to Dark Blade.
Now I understand that when equipped, Pitch-Dark gives Dark Blade 400 additional ATK. My question is on the piercing damage effect. Does Dark Blade get it as a 2nd effect from Pitch-Dark's union or does the tiny Dragon have built in Dragon's Rage that I missed before?
Answer:
That effect is only applied to the monster equipped with the "Pitch-Dark Dragon".
The "Pitch-Dark Dragon" itself does not have this effect.
