Michizure - When my monster is destroyed in battle?

Is it possible to activate 'Michizure' during the Damage Step?

I would assume it follows the same rulings and restrictions as 'Chthonian Blast', is that right?

Answer:

You can activate "Michizure" in the Damage Step ONLY if your monster is destroyed in battle.

It follows the same ruling "Chthonian Blast" has.

From the FAQ, under "Chthonian Blast": "This card can be activated during the Damage Step if a monster is destroyed as a result of battle. However, it cannot be activated if a monster is destroyed by an effect during the Damage Step."

So if michizure can activate in the damage step what about this?

Player a has shinning angel and attacks player b zaborg, angel resolves and special summons dd warrior lady, can player b now activate bottomless trap hole?

if was ruled you cannot before but it seems to be along the same lines as michizure.


Answer:

The rulings for "Bottomless Trap Hole" have not changed.

"Bottomless Trap Hole" cannot be activated in the Damage Step.
