Chimeratech Overdragon, Future Fusion and Ring of Destruction


If I use Future Fusion to bring out Chimeratech Overdragon it will be destroyed when Future Fusion is destroyed. Can my opponent chain Ring of Destruction to destroy Chimeratech before it's destroyed by Future Fusion's effect when leaving the field, or will Chimeratech be destroyed before the effect of Ring can ever get to it?


Answer:

"Chimeratech Overdragon's" effect that removes other cards from the field begins a Chain, so it can be chained to.

"Ring of Destruction" could be chained in this case, in order to destroy the "Chimeratech Overdragon". The "Chimeratech Overdragon's" effect will still resolve and remove the appropriate cards from the field.
