Path up the hill vs Jin - Defensive Empty
PostSubject: Path up the hill vs Jin - Defensive   Path up the hill vs Jin - Defensive EmptyThu Feb 26, 2009 6:47 pm

Path of the Hill:
Players cannot use activated effects on characters in their party

Jin (defensive):
Defensive X=# of souls
When jins wins a battle, your opponent loses 9 power.Use only while your guardian can collect Souls
When your opponent attacks, choose a stat. Jin may defend with that stat this battle

Which of this effects can I still use. Which of them are considered activated effects?

Answer:
Path up the Hill does not affect Jin.
Defensive was ruled as being a constant effect and not activated.
The second part of the effect for your opponent loosing the 9 power is a triggered effect. Like wise the last effect of defending as any stat this battle is also a triggered effect.

So path doesn't hinder him in any way.
