Iowa Regional Sept. 8, 2007

Beleive it or not but Jason went 5-2. Finished in 12 place. He did beat Mitch and Micheal Stienman.

Way to go Jason...MItch also went 5-2.

Merlin top 8ed also Shawn.

I think team did pretty well with 3 in top 8 and the other 3 finishing 5-2.

The day went quite smoothly as far as judging. I thought Kevin Kimm and Randy Hilabolt, who worked their first regional tournament that day, did a very nice job. I plan on having them both back in the future.

I turned the tournament over to Rick Bessler to run for the last 4 rounds of swiss as well though I was still the HJ. We're trying to get Rick some experience as HJ so he can be an alternate for the Iowa tournaments in that position. Life is getting extremely busy for me and it's always good business to have experience down the line.

I was a little dismayed at some of the player's behavior online after the tournament. It so often seems that people just want something to complain about <soft chuckle> Few want to take responsability and fewer are willing to admit when they just got out played it seems.

Chiwigga are just weird people that like to complain about stuff and cause problems.

I don't know why you would add topcontrol to your sig when there is a 0% chance of you ever being on the team. Get your own team and leave mine alone we already have our cheerleader person.

I always thought chearleaders were GIRLS...

Our cheerleader is a girl.

I know you want to be good and wish to be included in TopControl but you won't be. It is very rude to our team to have someone posing to be in our team that isn't. If you don't take it out I'm going to have to have Joe eat you.

It isn't fair I have to take it out of my sig for fear of people associating us together.
