Big Core, B.E.S. Monsters and Counters Empty
PostSubject: Big Core, B.E.S. Monsters and Counters   Big Core, B.E.S. Monsters and Counters EmptyThu Jul 19, 2007 6:45 pm

Big Core, and the other Core monsters state to remove 1 "counter" from them. Does this include "A-Counter"s and other "counters" that can wind up on them? These are still "counters" and I believe, due to the loose mechanics of the game (I mean, you can use Arsenal Summoner to yank a Gate Guardian because it has Guardian in its name and is not on the list listed on the card!), that you should be able to do this.

Please clarify as to what "counter" the Cores are required to remove, or if it is 1 of any counter that has wound up on this "card". I know the Cores get just good old "counter"s when they are summoned.

Answer:

Only the counters placed upon the "Big Core", "B.E.S. Crystal Core", etc. by way of its own effect are removed.

They are the only counters that apply towards it effect, and are the only counters the effect looks at when determining what to remove or if the "Big Core", "B.E.S. Crystal Core", etc. should be destroyed by its own effect.
