Electric virus, puppet plant and more

Electric Virus and the other (diffenrent monster types of course) says:

By discarding this card from your hand to the Graveyard, take control of 1 face-up Machine or Dragon-Type monster your opponent controls until the end of this turn.

So my quistion is, can it be used during an opponents turn?



Answer:

The controller of the "Electric Virus", "Marionette Mite", "Puppet Plant", etc. can only activate its effect during his/her Main Phase 1 or Main Phase 2.

It is an Ignition Effect.
