There has been quite a debate as to whether or not "Great Shogun Shien" is considered to be a "Six Samurai" monster.
The rulings do not actually state it is; rather, they refer to the monsters that actually have the words "Six Samurai" in their card names and "Great Shogun Shien" separately.
This creates some questions as to whether the supporting Spell/Trap cards can be used in conjunction with "Great Shogun Shien".

"Many commonly used phrases have been made shorter and simpler to make is easier to read the cards, but they still mean exactly the same thing!
For example, a "Destiny Hero" monster and a monster with "Destiny Hero" in its card name are exactly the same thing, but the first wording is shorter. (It takes less time to read, so you have more time to Duel!)"
So... does "Great Shogun Shien" have "Six Samurai" written anywhere in its card name? NO.
So is "Great Shogun Shien" a "Six Samurai" monster? NO.
